What does the 1.5% transaction fee cover?

The 1.5% covers unlimited use of the full MangoPOS platform — every feature listed, all devices, all stations. It only applies to transactions processed after your free 30-day trial ends. There are no caps, no tiered fees, and no additional charges for extra users or devices.

Is the R299 setup fee really once-off?

Yes. You pay R299 one time when you go live after your trial. That covers account setup, configuration of your menu, station mapping, printer setup, and a live onboarding session with our team. You will never be charged this fee again.

What happens after my 30-day free trial?

At the end of your trial, you pay the once-off R299 setup fee and the 1.5% per-transaction fee kicks in on future sales. There is no credit card required to start the trial, and no automatic charge at the end — we contact you to confirm.

Are there any limits on products, users, or stations?

No limits at all. Add as many products, categories, users, printers, and stations as your operation needs. MangoPOS is built to scale from a single-waiter coffee shop to a multi-station hotel restaurant without any plan upgrades.

Does MangoPOS take a cut of my card payments?

No. The 1.5% applies to the transaction value recorded in MangoPOS — not to card processing. You use your own card machine (Yoco, Peach, or any terminal) and pay your own card rates to those providers. MangoPOS's fee is separate and based on total sales.

Can I use MangoPOS with my existing hardware?

Almost certainly yes. MangoPOS runs on any Windows PC, laptop, or iPad (9th gen or newer). If you already own a compatible device, you can get started with zero hardware spend. See the hardware page for full compatibility details.
